Getting to know which type of horse you want to use for your exercise is vitally
important, and there are two common types namely the Western and English breeds,
and so the choice is yours. If you have no idea on which one to choose, ask your
trainer to help you select the best one.

Some trainers teach their students using the English type of horse but others use
both types, and it depends on the type that you will choose and what you want to
achieve. Before you start your lessons, get to know what you want, and your training
will be very easy and enjoyable without any headaches and hassles.

The types of instructions vary considerably not forgetting discipline, and your
top priority should be safety. Do a lot of research and get to know about your coach,
the horses the instructors and all the things you need to know. Talk to the students
you find at the stables, and if they give you answers that are not pleasing, then
you can look for another stable and instructor.

Note that you cannot learn how to ride when you are wearing a suit or a dress. There
are very many beautiful horse riding clothes, and they are made in a way that will
make you feel very comfortable as you train. You can do a lot of things without encountering
any issues. The boots are high quality, and they keep your legs well protected.

When you are handling the animal, you need to be very cautious because it is impulsive
and that is why safety should be the topmost agenda as you begin handling them.
When you begin riding the horse, it should be done with a lot of care, and you will
have a good time as you continue learning.

Skilled instructors do not allow their students to start riding the horse immediately
because the first thing that you should be taught is how to handle the horse while
you are on the ground. There is so much to learn because you must lead, halt and
communicate with the animal. You will learn how to mount the horse, positions, and
many other things.

As you begin your lessons, bear in mind that riding a horse is not an easy thing
to do, but a competent coach will take you every step of the way and in due time,
you are going to be an expert rider. Love your trainer and be a very keen and observant
student and you will learn very fast. The above information will help you a lot.
Enjoy your ride.
